When you learn to listen and to observe, you will understand the whispering wind in the leaves of trees, water song in ponds and rivers and recognize the hidden symbols in your environment.   

Many people ask me how I can see what I express.

I always answer: not with my eyes, but with my heart and my soul.

I cannot prove that those beings in my paintings exist, but I know that their energy and vibration can create the most unusual forms that might well be from other dimensions.

About Mia:

Born January 20, 1990 in Split, Dalmatia, Mia attended elementary and high school of Fine Arts in Split, where she majored in painting. Her great imagination has always been the main source for creating her imaginative parallel worlds and the magical beings who exist in them.

Her goal is to pursue her education at the Fine Art Academy in Split and to continue expressing her own imaginary world and share her perception with others. Mia says her inspiration comes from the mystery and changes in nature, hidden forms and details of the mysterious, visible and worlds invisible to the naked eye. She seeks to awaken her fascination by transforming her experiences on paper, canvas and many other forms of Art.

Her fairytale, imaginary, world is the endless origin of her never-ending, creative inspiration. She has been particularly influenced by artists like Caspar David Friedrich, Brian Froude, Rassouli, Alan Lee, Louis Roy, and others. Their distinctive style and approach has helped her in creating and developing her own unique style, which she expresses with so much Love and joy to make it truly perfect.

At present, Mia has had one public exhibit of her Art works (acrylic on canvas and figures) in 2009 at the Christmas fair in Split at the Diocletian's palace, and one solo exhibit (acrylic on canvas, figures and garments) in March of 2010 at the town library Marulic in Split, Dalmatia.
