Marie talks about "Love Is The Bridge"
This painting has a
lot of symbolism embedded within
it. First of all, I was inspired to use both the colors of
Heaven and Earth for the background--that is why the painting contains
hues of both blue and earthen copper colors blended together.
Next the Sacred Geometry shapes of the
circle, square and triangle can be found in this painting. The
circle (which represents the physical plane) is in the
center of the painting illustrated as a peace sign, the squares
(which represent the soul) are found in the pieces of Hematite
placed around the circle and the Rose Quartz placed in the very
center of the heart is a triangle shape (which represents the
spirit).
The heart in the center symbolizes love
which I feel is the Universal Bridge between Heaven and
Earth. To enhance this love energy, I placed pink Rose
Quartz crystals around the edge and in the center of the Heart.
The outside circle contains Hematite,
which has a naturally grounding energy, so it went perfectly in the
circle, or shape of the physical plane or Earth.
There are pieces of Copper Foil also worked
into the painting. These show up as beautiful rainbow
colored flakes. Copper takes its name from the island of
Cyprus, the birthplace of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and
creativity. Copper eases any overactive situation and so was a
natural energy to add to the piece. The aqua-colored
serpentine crystals were placed on the circle because
Serpentine is cleansing, balancing and detoxifying. It
serves as an earthing stone. A mysterious stone thought
to enhance the emotions of love and assist in meditation.
This painting containing Rose Quartz,
Hematite and Copper vibrates at the energy of "Heaven and
Earth". I feel it is a very special piece of art
and I hope viewers are moved by it!
