Linda talks about "Moonrise" My paintings are based on elements of nature and how they can also be seen as elements within the human soul. This painting was inspired by one night in Venice, California, when a full moon became a luminous orb and began to feel like a living being. It became to me a mystical metaphor for the divine light that shines down on earth and gives its very life and light--not the clear light of the sun, but something reflective luminous, mysterious and poetic; the unseen heavenly realm that gives life and substance to the earth world which inspires us to reach within and connect with the realm of spirit. dedicated to the Oneness
