"Creating a work of art for BRIDGING HEAVEN AND EARTH was a meditative act... with focus and joy from the innermost part of my being. The work began with grapes, a fruit thought to be a gift of divine intervention. I first stained the paper with crushed Concord grapes from my backyard, which I mixed with moss and glitter. Connecting to the earth, creating art that day, I was overwhelmed with the deep satisfaction of knowing I am part of the earth, as well as the eternal and boundless cosmos."
